I think we can call agree that 2016 been one of the strangest years in recent memory.
From Trump to Brexit to a seemingly never-ending list of celebrity deaths, we’ve all been through one hell of a year. But it hasn’t all been doom and gloom. We here at Store of the Future London have grown from strength to strength and even celebrated our one year anniversary! Our innovative new approach on what it means to be an O2 store has exceeded everyone’s expectations, both in sales and customer experience, and we plan on continuing this ethos into 2017.
As everyone who works in retail knows, Christmas is one of the most wonderful times of the year. So what better way to inspire our customers than to immerse them in a Winter Wonderland?! Our halls were decked with everything bar holly; a Virtual Reality Experience Sleigh Ride through Oxford Street, a snowman building competition complete with actual snow and a gift-wrapping station flanked by our lovely O2 Angels.
Our inspire zones traditionally showcase to our customers just what the latest technology can do for them, but they can do so much more! Inspiring people is about more than gizmos and gadgets; it’s about giving a person a memorable experience from O2 that they can take with them. And what better gift than the Christmas spirit? We had countless customers joining us in store for a bit of Christmas cheer. The hot chocolate was flowing to keep everyone warm, our fun Christmas jumpers gave everyone a good laugh and there was just a general Christmas cheer in the air.
It has definitely been a wonderful year for Store of the Future London and we are very much looking forward to what the new year will bring!
